Printer Ink Guide
Prior to buying a printer it's very important to check the cost of printer inks your new printer will use. The cost of printer ink will be the highest expense that you'll have after you've bought a printer. It's strongly recommended to buy a printer with individual ink tank for each color as you need only to replace the color that you've run out of.
By buying printer ink cartridges made by third party companies instead of the ones made by your printer's manufacturer you can save a lot of money. The downside is that if your printer breaks down and it turns out the problem was cause by a third-party cartridge some of the manufacturers won't cover the expenses as they feel you've not followed the guidelines in the warranty.
