Canon PowerShot S230 3.2MP Digital Camera is my recommendation among the compact Canon digital cameras. It's extremely easy to use and light, weighing a mere 6.4 ounces. Resolution is 3.2 Megapixels and the optical zoom is 2x, it's also able to shoot movies with audio clips up to 30 seconds.

Canon PowerShot S230 is a great camera for a person on the move because of its size but still offers a lot of great features and because of that I recommend this camera.

Canon PowerShot G3 4MP Digital Camera boasts an impressive 4 Megapixel resolution, a 4x optical zoom, and a bright LCD monitor. Canon PowerShot G3 is an elegant and most of all easy-to-use camera that will satisfy most of the tastes.

PowerShot G3 can also record movie clips of up to 3 minutes. Images are stored on Type I or II CompactFlash memory cards. G3 is probably one of the best quality cameras around and the photos taken with this camera are excellent.
